Jay Garfinkel

Jay Garfinkel is a Fine Art photographer, television producer, director and writer.
Garfinkel worked at the start of his career as a studio photographer shooting magazine covers and exhibit prints.
In 1987 he was invited to join the Arts Club of Washington. Garfinkel took up documentary video and photography assignments in the mid 80's. He has photographed documentary essays of the Dead Sea, Basques living in remote villages of the Pyrenees, Bedouins in Petra, woman soldiers in Israeli combat units, Independence Day celebrations in the Dominican Republic, Street photography in Shanghai and Beijing. His photographs have been exhibited at the National Press Club in Washington DC and the Jerusalem Theater, Israel

Garfinkel is a member of the Jerusalem Press Club.
